Biologikal is one of the MarketAlly journals. This policy says what the site collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: an email address if you give one, a few functional cookies, and reading statistics — none of it sold, none of it handed to advertisers.
An email address, when you give one. Subscribing, joining a waiting list, requesting a gated download, or verifying a guest comment stores the address you entered, with a display name if you provided one.
What you post. Comments, reactions, poll votes, and wishlist entries are stored with the content they belong to.
Reading statistics. The site records when an article is opened and read, so the publisher can see what resonates. These are used as statistics about articles, not to build advertising profiles of readers.
This site sets a small number of first-party, functional cookies: one that remembers you are a subscriber or have been granted access, and one that remembers a language choice. There are no third-party tracking cookies, no ad networks, and no external analytics scripts. Functional cookies are the reason there is no consent banner — there is nothing here to opt out of beyond using the site.
Delivering the publication: sending the posts you subscribed to, showing what you posted, keeping the archive's statistics honest. The mailing list is not sold, rented, or shared, and it is not used for anything beyond this publication's own posts and announcements.
Every mailing includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the mail. To have your address, your comments, or anything else deleted entirely, reply to any email this publication has sent you and ask; it will be done.
Material changes to this policy are noted here with a date rather than silently rewritten.
